National Accounts Assistant Manager

Role Overview
As a National Accounts Assistant Manager, you will take ownership of a portfolio of key retail and distribution partners, driving sustainable growth, strengthening long-term customer relationships and identifying new commercial opportunities.
What Will You Do?
Manage key brick-and-mortar retail accounts, while supporting the National Accounts Assistant across other distribution partners.
Work closely with the Senior National Account Manager to maximise sales through innovation, brand exposure and a strong trade and promotional calendar, with a focus on recruiting the consumer of tomorrow through digital and social initiatives.
Manage the Gift with Purchase and sampling programmes, with a strong focus on customer acquisition.
Monitor and report on weekly sales targets and individual account performance, working with the Senior National Account Manager to identify and implement initiatives that deliver against targets. Drive sell-out performance, brand visibility and product availability to support sustainable growth.
Support the Senior National Account Manager with stock allocation and work closely with Marketing and Supply Chain to coordinate timely deliveries and maintain product availability.
The Perfect Candidate
Proven experience as a key contact for multiple retail accounts, with a strong understanding of brick-and-mortar retail.
Proven key account experience, with a strong understanding of how to recruit the consumer of tomorrow through digital and social marketing initiatives, including experience negotiating and managing these activities with retail partners.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines, managing multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Strong commercial acumen, with excellent numeracy, trading and negotiation skills.
